Since there may actually be people reading this now (tip of the cap to Niall at Torque Control), I have a question: threaded comments, yes or no? In theory, it seems threading should be a good thing simply in terms of clarity. In practice, what I find is that a) they tend to result in the same questions being asked and answered several times in any given discussion, possibly because b) it is harder to tell what is new when comments are threaded; also c) once you get beyond two or three levels of comments, the actual width you have available for text tends to become an issue. But I thought I’d ask now, while the blog is still relatively young and comments still relatively few. Thanks for any input you may have.
No.
